Salt Cay
- Fly to Salt Cay, a small colonial outpost on the edge of the Turk's Island banks.
- This small island has a population of less than 100 people and a unique charm all of it’s own.
- Donkeys, chickens, and cows roam the streets; guided educational walks around the historic salt ponds and sleepy districts are conducted year round.
- In the winter months (January through March) you can take a boat journey to look for the majestic humpback whales that migrate past these shores.
- There is also some excellent bird watching on Salt Cay and specific birding tours can be arranged on demand.
- Boat and snorkel excursions to the spectacular Great Sand Cay, HMS Endymion shipwreck and other nearby islands are possible during fine weather.
- Overnight trips to Salt Cay are recommended and accommodation is arranged.
